Tata Motors Aquired Jaguar and Land Rover
Tata Motors acquired the Jaguar and Land Rover (JLR) businesses in an all-cash deal from Ford for Rs 9,200 crore. The acquisition financed through a 15-month, $3-billion bridge finance facility from a syndicate of banks.

Tata has acquired the two companies for about half the price that Ford paid their original owners when the latter acquired them in 1989.
