Kettering University Offers Special Engineering Co-op Programs

Kettering University has some unique programs like it's leading engineering co-op programs that they let the students to go for onsite job training in their freshman year in co-op corporate besides completing their studies in university. This kind of onsite job training is very good to build up students strengths and to help them to prepare themselves well in real working environment. Specially when the training will be rotated between schools and getting practical exposure in various jobs every 3 months.

This co-op corporate program has companies such as Disney, NASA, Merrill Lynch participating in it. It will be great opportunity for a freshman to be part of such big companies and get good exposure working under professional leaders & professional environment there. This really helps them to build up management skills, communication skills and leadership skills to list a few. Freshman will also get some basic salary per their service time in the company.

To add feathers, if you read the annual "America's Best Colleges Guide for 2008",
Kettering University has been ranked #1 again for Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering (IME). This is published by "US News and World Report". Kettering University has been ranked in Top twenty in the States in 2008. Industrial Engineering being my favorite major, I am excited to share this news with you.
